Custom export styles

This article covers how to add your own custom headers, footers, and styling to all DOCX exports from Claras.

Creating a template document

You have two options:

  1. An existing DOCX file. You can use any file that already contains you styles, headers, footers etc. This will be the easiest approach to start.

  2. Starting from scratch. You can download our example template file that contains a base set of styles and customise from there.

You don't need to worry about the content of the document - this will be replaced with the actual content you are exporting from Claras. You just need to ensure your custom styles, margins, page size, header, and footer settings have been saved.
